Windswept Chase Tours is owned and operated by Dean Cosgrove. Dean is one of only a handful of full-time, professional storm chasers in the world. He has been chasing and photographing severe storms since he was a teen growing up in Tornado Alley where he was born and has always lived. Dean's passion for severe weather and nature
translates into an accumulated knowledge and wisdom about storm systems that
goes beyond numbers forecasting.
Dean offers customizable private storm chasing tours of any length (minimum 3 days for booked tours) for
individuals and small groups. A private tour with Dean provides you and,
perhaps your family or friends, with the opportunity to determine what
elements you want your chase experience to include. Some of Dean's guests
have used the private tour experience to sharpen their severe weather
forecasting skills. Other Guests enjoy the
nature and wildlife photography opportunities in addition to storm chasing.
